These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at www.ges1limited.com (the "Website") and the supply of electrical, solar PV and renewable energy services ("Services") by GES1 Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
By using our Website or engaging our Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our Services.
3.1 The Website and its content are provided for general information only and do not constitute professional or technical advice.
3.2 We may update, change or remove content, or suspend the Website, at any time without notice.
3.3 You must not use the Website unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or introduce malicious code.
4.1 Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Quotes are based on the information you provide and a reasonable site inspection. If work is found to differ from that on which the Quote was based (for example concealed wiring, structural issues, or additional materials), we will inform you and may revise the price before continuing.
4.3 Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT, which will be added at the prevailing rate.
5.1 A Contract is formed when you accept our Quote in writing. At that point these Terms apply to the work.
5.2 Any variation to the agreed Services must be agreed in writing and may affect the price and timescale.
6.1 We will perform the Services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable standards, including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and our NICEIC, NAPIT and MCS accreditations where relevant.
6.2 You agree to provide safe access to the site, accurate information, and a supply of electricity and water where reasonably required.
6.3 Timescales are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control.
7.1 Payment terms are stated in the Quote or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
7.2 We may require a deposit or staged payments for larger projects.
7.3 Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
7.4 Goods and materials remain our property until paid for in full.
8.1 Where you are a consumer and the Contract is made off-premises or at a distance, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin work within that period, you may be charged for work done up to cancellation.
8.2 For other cancellations, you remain liable for work completed and materials ordered before we receive notice.
9.1 We warrant that our workmanship will be free from defects for 12 months from completion, subject to fair use and correct operation.
9.2 Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied equipment and materials per the manufacturer's terms.
9.3 The warranty does not cover faults caused by misuse, third-party alterations, normal wear, or failure to maintain the installation.
9.4 Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
10.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, our total liability arising from a Contract shall not exceed the total price paid for the Services under that Contract.
10.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business.
All content on the Website (text, images, logos, designs) is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. See our Privacy and Cookies Policy at www.ges1limited.com/privacy-policy.
If you are dissatisfied, please contact us at info@ges1limited.com and we will aim to resolve the matter promptly. Complaints relating to certified work may also be raised with the relevant scheme provider (e.g. NICEIC, NAPIT).
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Website at the time you engage our Services applies to your Contract.
